Purpose: In order to start developing applications with the SQLgateway to Oracle, you must first invoke the ACCENT R image linked with the Oracle RDBMS subroutine libraries from the DCL prompt. Please note that ACCENT R accesses data in the same manner as SQL *Forms and SQL *Report Writer.
$ ACCENT
$ ACCENT:==$NIS:ACCV1188ORA.EXE
$ ACCENT
NOTES: You must be using the version of ACCENT R which supports the Oracle RDBMS. The version of ACCENT R which you are running can be obtained with the command:
*type @version
